Mittens are going in time out. The amount of time I have spent faffing about with this fucking grafting could have been spent re-knitting the flip top, which I was trying to avoid. I just can't get it to look right. Every time I fix one issue, I end up creating another. Sticky yarn is great for colourwork, but not for repeatedly pulling out stitches.
