I’m actually quite embarrassed that we need people like Trump and JD Vance telling us that EU must stop deindustrialisation at the benefit of openly hostile countries, when this was repeated by EU industry for decades. Did we really needed US threatening with withdrawal of the defense umbrella for that message to get through? Will that finally get through? Not sure…
