I don’t know the answer but wasn’t the point of the system to optimize collaboration between people that don’t trust or like each other?

I get the concern and I can’t help but see it as a step we would’ve encountered anyway. But maybe Satoshi was right about the attention of wikileaks being too early, and BTC’s exposure was indeed too early. Perhaps we haven’t been round’ about and sly about it enough.

On the other hand, bitcoin is not at a helpless stage either.
