this chart doesn't cover all the other costs and benefits of the EU. The redistributive logic of EU economic policies are more to the benefit of those same countries, while the costs are borne by the other countries (with Greece during the financial crisis as the most obvious example).
The right turning against EU is mostly about the far right, EU has always been a centre-right project, the actual left has been critical about it. Though, the left has won some victories through the EU that it wouldn't have in some countries (especially the UK) without it, so now there's support for the EU on the left.
