Is it just me, or are people simply not getting the response to art here on Mastodon that they used to? I don’t mean to complain, I’m just curious.

I’ve been looking at the numbers of responses on a lot of pieces by artists I really admire who do gorgeous works I’ve boosted myself, and it seems they’re lucky if they get any response more than 10 Boosts and Faves combined.

It’s… startling. I don’t remember it being this way a year ago. Is it just me? Has something changed?
