I just heard a law enforcement officer say on his radio that, "a car hitting the mirror of another car isn't an MV accident. There is no damage to the vehicle other than what can be easily repaired." According to the officer, the person that hit someone's mirror (damaging it) and took off didn't do anything wrong.
Guess that means you are all free to whack into the mirrors of other cars and just drive away. More points I guess if you crumple that sucker? This should be fun! #Automobile
