I'm considering writing a newsletter that contains a lot of charts (basically a takedown/debunking of a chart widely shared on social media). I currently don't have support for embedded graphics in mails, but I can implement that. Though wondering how to do that acceptably (size, number of attachments/images, formats). Are there reasonable guidelines about maximum size etc.? I guess avif isn't supported widely enough? How about svg? (and yeah, the text part will have some limitations...)
