No, most FE-ers don't believe in "Outer Space" at all, so the most common idea is that the other planets are here, on the flat plane, not "out there". So they are simply other continents.
Like the whole universe is flat, like bubble wrap, with bubble worldlets, separated by (??)Ocean or Ice.
My question has always been, why is it the MOST reviled of all the alternative beliefs? Every time someone criticizes someone else, it's always "oh, I suppose you're a flat-earther as well"?
Who cares about anyone's beliefs, if all they do is meet each other for boozy weekends and don't do anyone any harm?
Unlike trans-ideology, FE isn't taught in schools, doesn't want to mutilate and sterilise children, and isn't intent on erasing half the human race from society and history.
There are far weirder rabbit-holes than FE. Like the "Nuclear weapons are a sham" one!
