I always sounded terrible on my micrphone. Which is weird 'cause it's a really good microphone. Sounded like badly compressed audio on 10kHz sample rate.

I thought it was Discord that compressed it poorly (only used it for voice calls since I got the new laptop)

Turns out I just had to disable "audio enhancements" in Windows, and it's crystal clear fantastic sounding.

Whyyyyyy? Why does "audio enhancements" exist?
