Would it not be better to have a remembrance day when we remember the biosphere and ecosystems we once had and we swear "Never again" when it comes to cutting down old growth forests or digging up fossil fuels. When we remember that we are a small part of this world and that it is beyond precious and that we need to do our utmost to protect and care for what still remains, what we have. To think of the well-being of generations yet to come?
