That is harsh, but understood in the context of sovereignty and PGP, among other lofty goals. As an iOS user, easing into the philosophy of maybe Apple is not so good, I am thankful for my devs who slave away to make my path to knowledge possible. Eventually I will go
GrapheneOS (npub1235…0ht5) and try to flash my own Pixel, but I am still just a grateful farmer ATM.
And yet the devs will continue to build for Apple instead of following their principles. Or maybe they are following their principles, which is growth at all cost, so want to be on Apple so they can maximize the number of people using their app.
