Christians are and have been the most accepting of other religions, and are the most just rulers over peoples of varying religions. The crusades were not some oppressive act of Christians against everybody else. Rather, they were a response to the far more widescale Muslim crusades, and were necessary to preserve the Christian way of life, and to avoid the enslavement of the Christian people.
