Good question. It is important to have meaningful activity and purpose. Otherwise, why exist? I made the original remark somewhat in jest. In some regards I fancy the timeless nature of life without hard tech, but maybe the jack is outta the box and ai (while fragile) is inevitable in its immediate continued development. If it replaces rather mundane jobs and allows greater efficiency (especially environmentally but that may be unlikely) so that people can be granted the opportunity to slow down a bit, that may not be terrible. so much to hypothesize surrounding this topic but I don't wanna drag on too long here.
