As a caregiver for an adult with serious disabilities, who is seeking a legal name and gender change in addition to some changes in social security disability benefits, I have been quite busy with paperwork and frustrated by obstacles to progress. Throw in an application for a passport that will need to be updated when and if the name change happens, the changes in name and gender records that will be required at other entities, and the regular doctor's appointments and you get an idea of how I spend much of my retirement time. Well, I had a dream two nights ago about having to send a package to Canada. The package had to be addressed in a specific way to be delivered and had to be postmarked by midnight in my dream. The contents of the package? Animal pelts! I have never been a hunter or had any interest in animal pelts. So I have no explanation for that dream content. But, generally speaking, it was a stressful dream that did not make for relaxing sleep. #Dreams #Disability #Caregiving #Stress #Pelts
