I use this as background to have my surveillance & tech students make and measure their own improvised Faraday bags.

It's actually a backdoor to teaching them about experimental measurement. E.g., how can you measure attenuation here? What could confound your measurements? Why can't you just use a tracking signal generator to measure the curve over a continuous frequency range? Etc.
