Now, if I want to do a quality of life change to the UI and need a tiny bit of backend, I can just do it. Without any friction or context switch, or needing to talk to someone else and waiting three days to get an API change.
Our whole engineering department is barely ten people, with only two full time webdevs and it's sooooo much better.
Here's a few things I learned this year:
