If you, a man, make a female character in a game (with no tactical advantages for it), you are a virtual troon. Let me explain:
Yes, I know the "rather stare at a woman's ass" argument, and yes, I know you aren't basing the character off of your irl self. My reasoning is simple. You play the game and immerse yourself as said character(in most games). You mostly make decisions for yourself that you want to see, say things that you want to say (except rare choices where you cant). You are viewing this world through the eyes of the mc, whos acting as a surrogate for you. To play as a man would be the natural choice. To play a woman, you put your mind and personality through that of a female character. Same mind in a different shell. Very similar to troons who use a female character as a pfp. They pose as that character and want you to see them as it. Same with the game character, you want to be perceived by either npc or other players, as a woman. Hence, you are a virtual troon.
