So after going through a rather challenging process of installing Damus Notedeck on Linux. I am happy to report that I believe this is a very promising piece of open source software!
I may even consider contributing the project as a developer too. Nothing too big, or fancy as my life is rather busy at the moment. I can do some minor project contributions on my Notabug.org, or Codeburg account. Which can then be easily imported by the Damus team to integrate onto the official GitHub repository.
Would you all be interested in me packaging it up for a couple more Linux distros?
Maybe I can even create a dedicated Podman container too. So that way no one ever has to go through any flaming dependency hoops like I did. Took me 3 different distros in virtual machines to solve that mystery riddle.
