Do those turn into Instagram followers? What’s that look like? Is Instagram itself getting ActivityPub? This is all just so opaque and hard to predict. But I assume it all ends like email and Gmail except I resent Meta even more than Google (but not as much as Twitter).
Which is not nothing, as change goes. Anyway, I hate capitalism.
