One of the weirdest bugs on the Amazon website is its inability to deal with ISBNs that have dashes in them.
For ease of reading, ISBNs are usually printed with dashes to space them out, but they’re not part of the number. So something like 9781234567890 might be printed on a book as 978-1-2345-67-89, depending on what different numbers refer to.
If you paste the former into Amazon it’ll find your book, but the latter will find nothing.
It’s been like this since Amazon launched.
