So this current evolution of my sleep pad is working perfectly for me.

I like using an 1/8 inch folded foam pad either alone or under an inflatable. I mostly can’t be bothered with inflatables though.

I’ve used 1/4 inch ultralight neoprene also, but it’s a pain to unroll. Gluing panels of the 1/4 inch to the top 3 sections of the 1/8 inch folded pad is perfect. It’s still pretty thin and still folds. I get more padding, and still weighs basically nothing.
