Coldcard has secure elements, which allow you to store your secret on the hardware signing device.
On the other hand, afaik seedsigner claims stateless secret storage, meaning you must enter your secret each time you start up your HSD. There are no secure elements in SS.
SS does accomplish the mission of separating the signing/private key from an internets connected machine.
