I also finished playing The Talos Principle, the DLC, and the sequel. I haven't completed The Talos Principle 2's DLC. I have some thoughts on the game and it's story but they're still cooking, so to speak.
I actually started to really like the characters in The Talos Principle 2 by the end of the game. It really clicked with me at that point. So much so I might want to replay the second game just for the story and to choose some different dialogue options. Though there's DLC to get to first.
There's something wrong with me since I just don't find the puzzles traditionally "satisfying." Like you should feel satisfied with completing the puzzles and rest assured, I am sure the majority of people will be very satisfied. The only reason why I didn't is certainly more on the "I have a screw loose" side of things.
Perhaps puzzles aren't for me but that's not completely true because I really did enjoy what little I got out of it. Most of the fun was playing it while a friend watched. My friend loves Talos so it was a blast.
