I checked out BWB on Zap.Stream via noStrudel. Here's my key take aways.
- Very Twitch like (goo thing)
- You can Zap the streamer. They all went to Spencer and I don't know it you can split those or not.
- There is a chat off to the right
- You can Zap peoples comments (something I wish we had)
- Top Zaps are displayed at the top of the chat
- You can stream sats/min
What it lacks compared to PC 2.0
-Splits
-Value Time Splits
-The experience on mobile sucks b/c you have to jump through several hoop and it still might not work. Worked well on desktop.
Final Thoughts
Its something to maybe pick up some Nostr people but it doesn't come close to what we have in PC 2.0 and the Splits is a deal breaker for me.
Having the IRC and DiscoBall in the video will drive people to PC 2.0 apps and the IRC. Want to light up the Disco Ball? send a Boost. Want to be in the cool chat on the screen? join the IRC.
Right now I think Nostr can only be used to bring people into what we are already doing. That might change but right now we have different goal.
