Where do we stand in this world?

Do we matter in the grand scheme of things or are we just cogs in a machine?

I see the world with eyes of a cynic, but am in awe of natural beauty.

I look at the stars in the sky with intense curiosity and wonderment.

I know we are not alone, but sometimes feel like we are mindlessly floating through the universe with no sense of purpose.

All I can do is enjoy my small corner of infinity and watch the rest of the world burn.
