And this, gladstein (npub1trr…hdpu), is a point of failure for freedom—the Brazilian Bitcoin technocrats. Be careful not to heroize them too much. Never underestimate Brazil's power to lead any social technology, whether it’s linguistic-meatspace technology or a fully-fledged, apparent virtual way out. We need more American transparency, meritocracy (accountability), and honesty in business. Only Americans understand the hard game of seeking freedom despite the enslaving factors. Brazilians may seem silly, but locally, they often fetishize enslaving one another. That is why I could not maintain any safe or profitable relationship with Brazilians when I was American—even less so as a former American, fully Americanized but having to thrive in Brazil! They would shoot me and hide the body if they had a reliable chance. Women are still even closer to biological extinction. You'll have a great time. You'll be idolized. You'll think you've found paradise. And that is great, and that is what we want. Just be vigilant of the bits and bytes. I honestly don't know how I will make it big as they are all (marketing experts) clustered together. The best I can do is be resistant, provide the material I produce free of patents and copyrights, work tightly with academic institutions as a researcher, and dream of just looking around countries that genuinely care about women when I am sorted with the level of attention I'll have to provide to my parents. I wish my business environment would improve in the next 3, 4, 5, 6 years. With the amount of foreign investment injected in certain directions, it just won't. My job is to not let it spoil too much.
