I think that's pretty unlikely; the commentary I've seen has said that the clips all have identified sources. The AI video generators I'm aware of are like AI image generators; they piece together output from statistical soup, but that doesn't often look like regurgitating clips of their training data.

It's more likely just someone inexperienced; maybe someone who's used to assumbling clips for TikTok or insta?
