Hi Mastodon. It's been a while. I wasn't very well. But I'm here and now I'm running my Xiegu G90 off 18650s salvaged from an old e-bike power pack. Four of them are just about within voltage spec. Make sure your cells can handle 4-5A discharge, or run two packs in parallel. I'll let you decide at that point if you want to use a BMS or just use a multi-slot charger.
