From the annals of "When I was a Kid" My Dad had two #fig trees in back yard, #Calhoun St. #NewOrleans early 60s. We lived in an odd neighborhood. Poor wood frame houses. Yet, next streets were rich mansions-- Versailles Blvd, Audubon Place. The story was -- my street was for the servants who worked over on the next streets. In fact, all along my street were dead ends--they used to be open- the walkways for the servants to go to work.
