What's the use of opening a lesbian bar if anyone *identifying* (another word I simply cannot use anymore because of possible vomit...) as a woman can go there as well? It wouldn't take long for the bar to become either empty, or trans-only, with a few young lesbians here and there who would have to check everything for their safety.
I remember even when *woman* was a protected sex in law the numerous times we had to stop heterosexual men from coming into our bars in the 70s, 80s and at the beginning of the 90s, when the decline was well underway. We used to step up to the door to prevent them from entering, a whole wall of us and they'd turn around for the most part. Those invaders used to talk of *human rights*, their *human rights* and *equality*...
