I think this video could be clearer by noting that buttons and knobs typically do the same thing every time, and that is why we can learn to use them without looking—it is not so much about the tactile feel as just knowing where they are and what they do. Maybe touchscreens would be more user-friendly if they simply offered us fewer choices, which is what buttons and knobs do.
