That feeling when you not only ignored the advice and went down the #LaTeX rabbit hole but you also managed to tempt a lawyer to peer down it too because creating a contract that is an easily editable document (it’s a text file) that can be managed in a version control system (it’s a text file) and supports references to multiple levels of nested clauses in a clear way (using \label{} and \ref{} markup) and still produces a good looking, consistently styled PDF (it’s LaTeX) just makes sense.
