Thought I'd have another ~6yrs with her. Then out of nowhere it looked like I might've lost her forever without even knowing anything was wrong. But the steroids worked wonders to temporarily ease the pressure on her brain.
Getting her back, however long or brief this reprieve is, is an incredible gift.
If the radiation therapy is successful, the hope is that it buys her another 18-24mo before the tumor takes over. If we did nothing, she'd only have 2-4mo.
Grateful for pet insurance and bitcoin; they made it possible for me to say yes to MRIs and radiation therapy where other families would have had to say goodbye.
