One of the things I really like about my job is that no one expects me to be nice or exchange pleasantries in my emails.

A previous employer always dinged me for not including flowery bullshit in my internal emails like "I hope this message finds you well."

They said I was abrupt.

Current employer is mostly IT professionals and they also just dump the needed information and move on. I've found my people.
