Hard to stop Bitcoin and even the self-custody of bitcoin - but some of these countries still have no issue with taking away personal freedom even if "guillty until proven innocent"...or they simply introduce incredibly punitive fines and resultant seizures if caught using as a currency.
China also has social credit scores that can cut you off from all infrastructure if you misbehave, etc.
