Kind of. Niklas is actually called Nikolaus. Depending on the country, he gets called Nicolas, Nicholas, Nikolai, or Nicola.

He's Nico for the revolutionaries.
Buck and Francis call him Nicky.
Mitya dubs him Kolya.

But for the baron, he mostly stays Niklas.
