I've had a passion for running online communities since I was a kid and my mom was a sysop/wizop. I run a local marketplace group on facebook. I have hand approved over 12,000 member to keep bots and scammers out. Today I shut it down because if meta doesn't want to pay for fact checkers I'm not giving my labor for free to enrich their platform when they bend over to get raped by fascists.
