Woke at 1 am this morning, my phone was ringing. I fumbled it. It was a US number, and there is no one in the US who needs to call me at that hour. Went back to sleep. I see now there were two earlier calls i slept through, and the number is a Microsoft support number, widely used by scammers when faking caller ID.

I wonder if you get a better cooperation rate from sleepy people who panic at an urgent message and whose judgement is impaired.

Anyway the upshot is: I'm grumpy and am now fiddling with my phone settings. I thought I had it set up to be completely silent after 10pm, but apparently not.
