You've got until midnight tonight to register to vote for the UK general election. Don't worry if you aren't close to your local elections office of your council, you can also do it online. If if you think you won't vote, get registered in case you change your mind. Just over two weeks to the election and any of the parties could have a major cock-up which makes you want to vote.

I know this general election is the most boring and unexciting in living memory but remember Peterloo, remember the suffragettes and spoil your paper if necessary - spoiled votes still have to be counted.
