In Trump's second term, raising tariffs on Chinese goods will be even less effective.
Military blogger "Shujianwu" states that while the US needs to maintain its hegemonic image and show that it still has the ability to "contain" China in the US-China competition, it doesn't have many cards left to play. "Raising tariffs will affect inflation, so they can only add 10% tariffs on China while adding 25% on other countries."
