Rice is still being harvested in November. At the start of the day, near Besisahar, there is rice everywhere. On dusk we arrived at Dharapani Gorge, at 2000m above sea level, and we're definitely above the rice line now. It's just trees and forest, with veggie patches.
The people who live here are so generous, and kind enough to share a smile.
