I don't understand why you're doubling down there.

Nice that you spoke to EU based sources, but that's not what was said. They needn't be in the EU (that's, again, you misrepresenting our point) but eduacted about the topic. And they clearly weren't, as otherwise, how you could've missed the *huge* amount of discussion around NetzDG and GDPR (or its German precursor). Otherwise I'd need to assume you ignored it willfully.

If you want some new sources, I recommend talking e.g., people from the biggest European hacker club (Chaos Computer Club e.V.), Netzpolitik.org, D64, DigiGes, ... etc.

Or reading their blogs. Or talks. Or discussions/panels.
