The time to switch to Vivaldi Browser is now.
All browsers, are Chromium based browsers, exception for, Mozilla Firefox, which like, Opera Browser, is now owned and managed by a marketing advertising company. Neither is suitable, as they are part of the problem.
Microsoft, along with Google, are developing Chromium, and have a lot of invested interest to make Chromium optimized for ads. The means, Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome, are also part of the problem, as they, by design, restrict and limit ad blockers. Brave Browser, already based on Chromium, additionally you can pay to be on their "safe list" which means, your ads will show to users. Same reason people prefer uBlock over Adblock Plus - No one can pay uBlock to allow ads. So Brave is also, further, part of the problem.
Vivaldi, although Chromium based, was the next best option. They include an ad blocker, and you cannot pay them to bypass their ad blocker. They are fully funded by the automotive industry and companies like Nintendo, which license to have their browser in their products. So they (as of yet) have not needed to make nice with ads. And I hope that continues.
