It's also not helping things that people on the far-right in Israel are saying the quiet part out loud by literally stating that the goal is to depopulate Gaza through violence-induced emigration.

Honestly, this looks like it was planned by Netanyahu and company. Sure they didn't force Hamas to do anything, but it sure looks like they paved the way for Hamas to attack.
