I just got an advertising email from a clothing company with the subject line "It's not too late to buy Dad the perfect gift."
All I could think was, "Yes, it is. He died 23 years ago."
Had it been a much shorter period of time, the email could have triggered a lot of pain. Advertisers should think of these things.
