We should take Trump supporters' frustrations with institutions seriously. Democratic govts always need some reform. The problem is that the process is never quick or easy. Even once you clear out any corruption preventing change, there will be legitimate competing interests. And Trump always intentionally adds a layer of bullshit and division on top. It becomes impossible to know where to focus our attention or build coalitions. But grievances don't sustain without a base of real concerns.
