Last night, a winter storm rolled in, covering the ground with snow, and it's still snowing.
Yesterday afternoon, an abandoned puppy appeared at our back gate. The puppy looked like he hadn't eaten in a while and was desperately seeking help. Unfortunately, the animal shelter closed yesterday. My wife fed the puppy and gave him water, and with the impending winter storm, we felt we had to provide him with shelter. We placed him in our enclosed patio and turned on a space heater. However, Charlie, our border collie, isn't too thrilled about having a strange dog around, which is problematic. The puppy's future is yet to be decided, but he's safe for now.
