Luckily there was 5" of fresh snow, but he landed with his tips buried in the snow, face down.

A guy in the front chair jumped off the lift (a ~10 ft drop) much against the wishes of the woman in the booth and skidded down to get him somewhat upright before ski patrol could arrive

We were on the chairlift maybe 6-7 minutes watching until the lift started again. The guy seemed okay, though my teeth chattered just watching them remove his helmet
