I was once on acid, out with a friend getting beers. We were about to leave and he told me he closed out our tab. I was the last to walk out and one of the servers stopped and said "what the hell, c'mon man your tab is still open".
I asked my friend about it right after and he shrugged and said "meh they can afford it".
Seeing that part of my friends personality come out like that, while tripping, changed our friendship forever. I couldn't unsee it.
Trust is such fragile thing
