Excellent question, it would be nice if the relay keep the past event to show a version of the note.

Assuming relays are deleting old replaceable events (instead of keeping an edit history of the post), does that mean it will be very common to see orphan replies, likes, quotes, reposts, zaps, and reports?

Or should all those event types ignore e tags and use the a tag instead?
